21.    07/25/09    My daughter was born with congential cmv in 2000. She has profound hearing loss in her left ear. I am mad that the first time I hear of this awful virus was in the hospital. I would love to help spread the word for other mothers!

23.    04/30/09    I cried when I found this. My son, Arthur, was born w/ CMV in 1984. We were at a mission school in Guatemala when I was pregnant. I wanted to be part of research back then, but couldn't find anything happening. Arthur married a lovely wife this year.

65.    03/18/04    Hi Lisa ... got an e-mail from Bob Krick at Richmond NBP about your new book. My gggrandfather, Patrick Garrity was a member of Co K - 9 NYHA. He was wounded on June 4, 1864 at Cold Harbor and died 10 days later of gangrene at Lincoln US Hospital
